As Tony and I discussed what we should bring to you in this months Intenders Newsletter we got to talking about how "drama" plays out in our world today. Whilst it may seem prudent to walk away from drama, and the people who create it, we can share loving support and choose not to be defensive or oppose their views. The images we hold in our minds soon surround us in living reality. These days of great change call for us to envision and hold only that which serves us, only that which we truly desire to experience in our lives. Anything less leads to the continuation of encumbrance and unhappiness. If we are to build a peaceful, joyful world for ourselves, we must begin, now, to set aside all the harmful suggestions and agendas of those who would manipulate us for their own self serving purposes and we must hold fast to the images and visions that lead us to light, to love, to freedom, to peace.

Every town has its lone-wolf lightworkers; those who work behind the scenes on behalf of the Highest Good of All, but seek no recognition or notoriety for it. I met Joyel over ten years ago, back when our little village of Pagosa Springs hadn't been discovered by so many tourists yet. She had an angelic twinkle in her eye, like someone who knew something you didn't. Over time I came to find out that "that something" was the gift of kindness, of gentleness, of helpfulness, of caring for others without thought of reward.

Joyel transitioned out of her body last month - and friends came from out of the hills and from all over the country to be at the celebration of her life. Toward the end of the gathering Joyel's husband, Joseph, touched us all by reading a vision she had written recently. It was her legacy to us, and it is so profound that it is with great honor that I share it with you now. I can think of no better way for us, as a whole, to celebrate Earth Day and to begin to create the world of our choosing than by envisioning the legacy that Joyel left for us. read more...

My guidance is clear lately: These are the times I have to be taking an even stronger stand on some things going on in our world. But on what? There are so many things to take a stand on - peace, environment, vaccinations, chem-trails, fluoride, smart-meters, hypnotic frequency jamming from truck back-up beepers, deceptive leaders and on and on . . . I'll have to pick one because I only have so much time and energy and I need to use a goodly portion of it for my inner work. I'll have to choose something that resonates with me and makes the best use of my particular set of skills and talents. Hmmm . . . perhaps there's a clue in my past . . . read more...

Life proceeds on two fronts: the inner and the outer. We explore our inner world by meditating, and we create our outer world by manifesting. Both are equally important to us, and yet we tend to spend the bulk of our energy focused on the outer, and, to our great detriment, we neglect our inner world. We tend to get stuck in our outer world with all its dramas and distractions, so much so that we forget about potentials within us that could not only bring us inner peace but also greatly enhance our manifesting skills.

My publisher, Brenda Knight at Viva Editions in Berkeley, CA, told me an inspiring story last week. She and her co-workers were going to Sunnyvale, across the San Francisco Bay area, to attend a talk at East-West bookstore by one of her other authors. As they neared their destination they were held up for over an hour by a group of angry people blocking the street and protesting about what has been happening in Ferguson, MO and other places around the country. The crowd was gathered near the bookstore and, as it happened, after finding a place to park nearby, Brenda engaged some of the protesters to find out more about their grievances. As she describes it, it was a scary, volatile situation.

Long story short, after listening to them for awhile, Brenda suggested that they all sit in a circle and make intentions around the things that were bothering them. They agreed, and guess what? It wasn't but a few minutes before a feeling of peace and positivity settled over the whole gathering. The Intention Circle defused their anger and replaced it with a feeling of hope. Read more...

Many of us are seeing the results of staying positive in our daily lives, and yet we still have to stay on guard for what the masters and mystics throughout the ages have called mental poisoning. We're finding out that poisons are not just of a physical nature but are also of a mental nature.
